Erick Lindgren Doubles through Brandon Adams

Easy game
Easy game
2-7 Triple Draw:

All in after the first draw, Erick Lindgren was all in against Brandon Adams, who was standing pat. Adams flipped over a J-9 low and Lindgren flipped up 2-3-4-6, drawing very live indeed. He hit a ten on the third draw, good enough to wrest away the pot and double his stack to 70,000.

I Ain't No Wahlbeck Girl...

Big Gwen Stefani Fan - Allegedly
Big Gwen Stefani Fan - Allegedly
Triple Draw:

Ville Wahlbeck raises preflop and Marc Karam 3-bets from the button with everyone else out of the way.

Wahlbeck draws two and Karam takes one, the Canadian bets before he's even looked and Wahlbeck calls. Wahlbeck draws one this time and so does Karam before both players check.

On the third draw they both draw one more and Wahlbeck bets, Karam thinks for ages before raising and Wahlbeck calls.

"Eight-six?" says Karam hopefully, flipping {8-?} {6-?} {5-?} {4-?} {3-?} but the Finn shows {8-?} {6-?} {5-?} {4-?} {2-?} to pip him by one.

Karam says, "Wow, you're kidding me..." before sinking into his seat.

Xavier Laszcz Doubles through Allie Prescott

No-Limit Hold'em:

Xavier Laszcz moved all in for 24,900 preflop and Allie Prescott made the call.

Laszcz {Q-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}
Prescott {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs}

Laszcz missed the flop when it came down {J-Clubs} {7-Spades} {5-Clubs}, but spiked the {10-Spades} on the turn to pair up. The river was the {8-Hearts}.

"Yes! Yes!" he cried as he doubled up to 60,000.

Mizrachi Snags a Pot from Adams

Pot-Limit Omaha:

Brandon Adams opened for 14,000 from the button and Robert Mizrachi called from the big blind. Both players checked the {J-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {4-Clubs} flop. When the {3-Hearts} fell on the turn, Mizrachi checked again, Adams bet 22,000 and Mizrachi called. The river was the {2-Diamonds}. Check-check.

Mizrachi showed {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} for two pair, jacks and fours and raked in the pot. He's up to 145,000.

Hanson Almost Mmmmm-Bopped...

PLO:

John Hanson must have lost a big chunk of chips over the last few hands, he was all in on a {K-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {4-Spades} board with {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {7-Hearts} against Marc Karam's {K-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}. Karam needed an eight or running cards to make a straight or flush to win.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} meaning both now had kings and sevens and the river was the {5-Diamonds} and they chopped the pot.

Lindgren More Concerned With Other Matters

Stud:

David Chiu fired all streets with a {Q-?} {2-Clubs} {2-Spades} {7-?} board and get paid all the way before showing queens up. Erick Lindgren though seems more concerned about someone else in the $2,000 event taking place behind the table.

"...He's just folded queens preflop to a crazy guy in a Hawaiian shirt. The guy showed him nines. He's wearing a Hawaiian shirt for God's sake!"

"From the Outhouse to the Penthouse"

Yeah, I've still got it
Yeah, I've still got it
Omaha-8:

Right before the last break, Doyle Brunson was on fumes with only 40,000 in chips. Now, after this latest hand of Omaha 8 or better, he's near the top of the leaderboard.

Eric Froehlich raised from early position, Mikael Thuritz called, and Brunson called from the big blind. The flop was {10-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {6-Hearts}. Brunson led out and both Froehlich and Thuritz called. The turn was the {J-Clubs}. Brunson led again and got two more calls. The river fell the {10-Clubs}. Brunson bet and again, both Froehlich and Thuritz called.

Brunson showed {Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} for the straight and both opponents mucked. With no possible low hand on board, Brunson scooped the pot, taking his stack up to 205,000.

"From the outhouse to the penthouse, boys" he said as he stacked up his chips.
