Lindgren Grounded

Erick Lindgren was just eliminated in 29th place.

Jussi Nevanlinna opened with a raise, Lindgren pushed all in and Nevanlinna called. Nevanlinna turned over {A-Spades}{K-Spades}, and Lindgren A-6. The board came {2-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, and Lindgren hit the rail. He earns $11,839.

Double Knockout with KK for Mabuchi

We just saw a three-way all in between Kyle Rowe, Howard Lederer and Motoyuki Mabuchi.

We caught up to this one just as all the chips were being collected, but it appears the action went shove-reshove-call, with Rowe pushing all in from the button with {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Lederer going in from the small blind with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, and Mabuchi, who had them both covered, waking up with {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} in the big blind.

The board came {A-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, and Mabuchi knocks out two players. After being all in himself with A-Q against two players holding A-K just an orbit or so ago, Mabuchi's now up to 345,000.

Since Lederer had more chips than Rowe when the hand began, Rowe finishes 31st and Lederer 30th -- which matters, since 31st pays $10,366 and 30th pays $11,839.

Down to Zero for Zink

It folded around to Brock Parker on the button who raised to 15,000, then Daniel Zink pushed all in for 120,000 from the small blind. Parker called.

Zink showed {A-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and Parker {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}. The board came {3-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Zink is out in 32nd place, earning $10,366.

Parker's hot streak continues. He's up to 850,000.

Final Judge-ment

First, Lennart Konst went out in 34th place ($10,366). Then Michael Judge was all in before the flop with {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and looked to be in decent shape against Clayton Newman's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. But the flop came {Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, and Judge was searching for a king. The turn was the {A-Clubs} and the river the {3-Hearts}, and Judge is out in 33rd place ($10,366).

Newman is now at 182,000.

Tilt Wars

Howard Lederer has doubled up yet again, this time through Erick Lindgren's {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} while holding {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. The board came {K-Clubs} {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {A-Spades} {5-Hearts}.

The Professor is up to 98,000.

Slam Duncan

Rory Duncan has doubled through Brett Switzer, he was holding 5-high at the time, but 5-high was spectacular drawing power given that it was {5-Clubs} {3-Clubs} on a {4-Spades} {7-Clubs} {2-Clubs} board against {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}. The turn gave him more outs coming the {5-Hearts} and the river was the {K-Clubs} to make the flush.

Mabuchi on the Move

Howard Lederer raised to 18,000, and Motoyuki Mabuchi reraised all in for 65,000 from the cutoff. Then Russell Crane decided to repop it for 125,000 from the button. Lederer made the call with his remaining chips.

Lederer {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Mabuchi {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Crane {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

Lotsa high cards. But the one that flopped helped Mabuchi, as the first three community cards came {Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river the {J-Clubs}, and Mabuchi more than triples up to 200,000. Crane and Lederer split what was left of the side pot -- Crane now has 125,000 and Lederer 37,000.

Boyd Bounced

Craig Boyd was all in before the flop with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs} against Yariv Levi's {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The flop was {7-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}, giving Boyd a flush draw. But the turn was the {6-Hearts} and river {5-Spades}, and Boyd is out in 35th ($10,366).

Levi is now up to 650,000.
