Rosewood Chopped Down By Levy

Steven Levy raised to 17,000 from middle position, and Sasha Rosewood reraised all in for 116,000 from the cutoff. It folded back to Levy who made the call.

Levy showed {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, and Rosewood tabled {9-Spades}{7-Spades}. The board came all babies -- {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} -- and Rosewood is out in 36th place, earning $10,366.

Levy is now up to 440,000.

Can We Get a Confirmation on That?

Play is being paused for a moment while the blinds/antes schedule is being double-checked.

Some players expected a 2,500/5,000 level after the previous one (2,000/4,000), and said as much. But a quick review of the structure sheet shows that indeed we are now moving to 3,000/6,000, with a 500 ante.

Level: 17

Blinds: 3,000/6,000

Ante: 500

Break Time

Players are taking a 20-minute break. The plan tonight will be either to play down to the final six-handed table, or stop at 3 a.m., whichever comes first.

Wetemans Is A Damp Squib

Rory Duncan raises to 13,000 and Jasper Wetemans moved all in for 80,000. Joe Serock moved all in behind and Duncan quickly folded.

Serock: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}
Wetemans: {A-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}

The board comes {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} and Serock is up to almost 200,000.

Wetemans has just 9,000 and is eliminated soon after in 38th ($9,186).

Fyshe But No Chips

Alex Ivarsson raised preflop and found Adam Fyshe reraising out of the blinds. The flop came down {K-?} {6-?} {4-?} and Fyshe check-called 40,000. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and Fyshe checked a second time and found himself staring down a 75,000 bet from Ivarsson.

Fyshe moved all-in and found himself drawing dead with {K-?} {J-?} against Ivarsson's {6-?} {6-?}. Fyshe is out in 39th ($9,186).

Ivarsson now the chip leader and first person to break the 1 million mark.

Jacks Fail Manthe, Out in 40th

Claudio Rinaldi raised to 10,500 from under the gun, then Jeffrey Manthe pushed all in from the button for about 85,000 total. It folded back around to Rinaldi who made the call.

Rinaldi {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Manthe {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}

Manthe looked to be in good shape, but the flop came {5-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and suddenly he was way behind. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and the river the {6-Hearts}, and Manthe is out in 40th place ($9,186). Rinaldi is up to 240,000.
