Langmann Doubles Through Laak

Phil Laak opened for 2,100 from middle position, Chad Batista flat-called, and Florian Langmann reraised all-in for 13,000 from the button. Laak made the call while Batista got out of the way.

Langmann {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}
Laak {5-Hearts} {5-Clubs}

"I thought you had ace-king" said Laak as he saw the bad news.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {A-Spades} {9-Diamonds} and Langmann got a much-needed chip infusion, doubling up to 38,000. Laak was still quite healthy with 275,000 in his stack.
