Andrew Robl - 23rd Place
Andrew Robl - 23rd Place
Action folded around to Andrew "good2cu" Robl in the small blind who checked his cards, then pushed all in with his last 105,000. Greg Raymer made the call from the big blind.

Robl {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Raymer {A-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

The board came {5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, and Robl was eliminated, earning $71,858. Raymer now has 2.4 million.

Frank Kassela Eliminated in 22nd Place ($71,858)

Frank Kassela - 22nd Place
Brian Townsend opened for 60,000 from UTG and Frank Kassela called from the big blind. The flop came down {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} and Kassela immediately moved all in for his remaining 105,000. Townsend called and turned up {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} to Kassela's {K-Spades} {J-Spades}. The turn was the {10-Spades}, the river was the {6-Hearts} and Kassela's tournament came to an end with a 22nd place finish, good for $71,858.

David Chiu Eliminated in 21st Place ($71,858)

David Chiu - 21st Place
David Chiu - 21st Place
David Chiu raised to 60,000 from under the gun, and Alec Torelli, sitting to Chiu's left, reraised to 152,000. It folded back around to Chiu who made the call, leaving himself about 155,000 behind.

The flop came single-suited -- {9-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}. Chiu announced he was all in, and Torelli made the call. Chiu showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair, and Torelli turned over {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} for queens and the diamond draw. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, giving Torelli his flush and making the {6-Hearts} on the river inconsequential.

Chiu is out, earning $71,858. That hand takes Torelli up over the 2 million-chip mark.

We're down to 20 players.

The Incredibly Shrinking Field

Once the cash bubble burst last night, it took just six hands to lose four players. Today's restart has begun similarly, with four more eliminations within the first couple of orbits.

The pay jumps begin after the next elimination (19th), however, so the bustouts should start slowing down. Everyone still has his eyes on that first prize of $1,891,012.

Thirsty for Chips

It folded around to Brian "tsarrast" Rast who raised to 60,000 from the small blind. Tony G made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts}, and Rast promptly led out for 82,000. Tony G took a sip from his cup of hot tea, then made the call.

The turn was the {7-Spades}. Rast announced his was all in, and Tony G let it go. Rast is up to 1.03 million, while Tony G has 375,000.
