Justin Young Calls ElkY's Bluff

After a flop of {9-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {2-Clubs} Isaac Haxton checked from the big blind, Bertrand "ElkY" Gropsellier bet 11,000 from the cut off and Justin Young called from the button. Haxton got out of the way.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and both remaining players checked.

The river brought the {9-Spades} and after a check from ElkY, Young bet 23,000. Elky check raised to 63,000 and Young called him down.

ElkY: {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs}
Young: {A-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds}

Young sniffed out the bluff and made the call with nines and sixes, ace kicker.

Young - 225,000
ElkY - 10,500

Haxton Axes Gromov

Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton
Dmitry Gromov was tangled up with Isaac Haxton, and it ended up costing him the rest of his chips.

On a turn board showing {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {9-Clubs}, Haxton led out with a bet of 53,000. Gromov moved all in for 135,500, and Haxton snap-called. Gromov had {10-?} {J-?} for the straight, but Haxton's {J-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} had made the nut straight. The river was a blank {5-Spades}.

Gromov is out, and Haxton is now in the top five with 410,000.

Greenwood Goes Out

Max Greenwood was all in before the flop with {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}, and he was racing for his tournament life versus Keven Stammen's {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}. The board would tease him but ultimately run dry: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}.

Stammen won the race, knocking out Max Greenwood and moving up near the top of the board with 357,000.

Seidel Caught Check-Raising With Bottom Pair

After a flop of {Q-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} Erik Seidel checked from the big blind and Florian Langmann made a continuation bet of 10,500 from the cutoff.

Trying to get Langmann of the hand, Seidel check raised enough to put Langmann all in. Langmann made a quick call.

Langmann: {A-?} {A-?}
Seidel: {6-?} {2-?}

The board filled out {Q-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {9-Diamonds} allowing Langmann to double through Seidel.

Florian Langmann - 105,000
Erik Seidel - 88,000

Kamberis Races Le

Alex Kamberis raised to 17,000 under the gun, and Nam Le re-potted it. Kamberis called all in for 40,500, tabling {9-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. Le was racing for the knockout with {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}.

The flop of {2-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} gave a bit of a sweat, adding four outs for Le's straight. The {2-Clubs} hit the turn, and the {5-Spades} on the river meant no straight and no pair for Le. Kamberis holds up to win the race, doubling up to 88,000. Le is down to 55,000.
