Bryn Kenney - A New Chip Leader Emerges

Three players saw a flop of {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. The small blind checked and Bryn Kenney bet 24,000 from middle position. Andrew Feldman made the call from the button and the small blind got out of the way.

The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and Kenney came out firing again, this time for 38,000. Feldman called.

The river brought the {6-Hearts} and Kenney decided checked the action over to Feldman who took bet 66,000. Kenney then check raised all in.

With about 82,000 behind, Feldman called all in.

Kenney rolled over {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs} for a straight. Feldman, not able to beat a straight, mucked his hand and walked away from the table.

Kenney now has 620,000 and is the new chip leader. This is the first time that Michiel Brummelhuis has relinquished the chip lead all day.

Flop A Queen, Bro

Eugene Todd was all in before the flop for about 80,000, and Alexey Popov looked him up. Popov showed down {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} to dominate Todd's {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}.

Salvation would come though as the dealer ran a flop of {8-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {2-Spades}. Todd had outflopped Popov in a big way to take a commanding lead. The {7-Spades} and {2-Hearts} that filled out the board kept him there, locking up the pot for Eugene. When the chips were counted down, Popov had his opponent covered by just one lonely orange chip worth 1,000.

Popov would quadruple up to 4,000 on the next hand, then almost quadruple once again on the next hand. He would lose his last 15,000 one hand later though, and Popov was finally put out.

Kitai KO's Chen

Bill Chen - Out
Bill Chen - Out
From the button, Davidi Kitai raised to 16,000 from the button, and Bill Chen re-raised to 54,000 from the small blind. Kitai put out a big four-bet, and Chen called all in for just the few thousand that he had behind.

The news wasn't good for the at-risk Chen. He tabled {J-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}, miles behind Kitai's {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}. The community cards would be no help either, showing up {5-Spades} {8-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {7-Hearts}. With that, Chen shook hands, wished his table luck, and headed for the rail.

Kitai is now among those pushing to overtake Brummelhuis for the chip lead. He's right at 500,000 now.

Karim Jomeen Eliminated

Karim Jomeen raised pot to 21,000 from middle position, leaving himself with only 1,000 more. Michiel Brummelhuis was in the big blind and raised the additional 1,000; Jomeen called.

Jomeen: {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs}
Brummelhuis: {Q-Clubs} {2-Hearts}

The board came {7-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {A-Spades} giving Brummelhuis a pair of queens to eliminate Jomeen.

Brummehuis continues to lead the field with 570,000.
