Habib Makes Big Call

A huge pot just played out resulting in Hasan Habib's double up.

Habib had raised to 14,000 from the cutoff and Howie Kahan called in the big blind. Kahan check-raised Habib's 15,000 bet to 45,000 on the flop and was called. They both checked the {4-Clubs} turn.

On the {A-Clubs} river, Kahan moved all in for 177,000 and Habib made the call. Kahan showed {A-Spades} {A-Hearts} for the rivered set of aces. Habib had {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} for a minutely better flush to double up and leave Kahan with just a few thousand left.

Jung Chips Run Free

Just before the no-limit restarted, Alexander Jung and Karlo Lopez got into a raising war on the turn of a {10-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {K-Clubs} board. Jung led, Lopez reraised, Jung made it 3-bets and Lopez makes it 4-bets. Jung gave up at this point, leaving himself with 70,00. Lopez has 375,000.

Tran on the Brink

Mimi Tran is down to her last bet after paying off John McGuiness on a {K-Clubs} {K-Spades} {4-Spades} {Q-Spades} {9-Spades} board with {K-Hearts} {10-Clubs}. McGuiness flipped {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} for the full house.

While this was happening, Brandon Demes was apparently elimianted from the action, though we missed how.
