After the second draw, Greg Mueller bet and Jimmy Fricke made the call. Mueller drew one and Fricke drew two, Mueller bet again and Fricke raised all in for his last 3,100. Mueller drew one and Fricke stood pat.
Adam Ewenstein raised from the button, and both Patrick Bueno and Brad Peeples came along from the blinds.
Bueno took three cards, Peeples took two, and they checked to Bueno. He drew two as well and put out a bet. Bueno was the only caller as Peeples surrendered his hand.
On the second draw, each man took one fewer card than before. Bueno let Ewenstein bet again before putting in a check-raise.
Ewenstein called and stood pat, and Bueno patted as well. He bet and Ewenstein called. Bueno turned over 7-6-5-3-2, and his number three was plenty good to win the pot.
Amnon Filippi raised it up from the cutoff, and Brian Saltus three-bet it from the button. Filippi called and both men drew two cards. The action went check-check, and Saltus drew two again. Filippi pulled one and made a bet which Saltus called. On the final draw, each man drew a single card, and Saltus called one more Filippi bet.
"I paired," lamented Filippi. Saltus turned over A-8-7-3-2, and his ace-low was the winner.
Justin Smith raised in midposition and Pat Poels calls in the small blind.
After the first draw, Poels drew two and Smith stood pat. Poels then check-called a bet, before drawing one and calling a bet from Smith. On the last draw Smith stood pat after Poels drew one.
Good afternoon and welcome back for Day 2 of Triple Draw Lowball action. When the chips were tallied early this morning, it's 73 players that have survived to bag up their stacks and come back for this second day.
Adam Ewenstein is the man everyone's chasing here, and his rush at the end of the night left him sitting pretty with 71,800 chips. There's still a lot of poker to be played though, and a number of players are hot on his heels.
With Event #56's massive field forcing us out of the Brasilia Room, we've been relocated to the cozy confines of the Miranda. We're set for a 2:15pm kickoff, and we expect to get rolling right on time.
