Bonding Out, Kay Extends Chip Lead

Lars Bonding was all in before the flop for 170,000 with {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}, and was in need of some help against chip leader Robert Kay who held {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

The flop came {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and Bonding's chances dimmed even more. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river the {K-Spades}, and it was lights out. Bonding finishes in 30th place, earning $22,157.

Kay is now way up to 1.37 million.

Hackworth Out; Thirty Remain

Matt Hawrilenko raised from late position Trevor Hackworth reraised all in from the small blind, and Hawrilenko made the call.

Hackworth showed {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs} and Hawrilenko {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. Bad flop for Hackworth: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river the {5-Spades}, and Hackworth is out in 31st place, earning $19,453.

Hawrilenko is now at 665,000.

Dicken Done in 32nd

Darrell Dicken was just now all in before the flop with pocket fives and was up against Aurelien Guiglini's {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}.

The flop brought a king, but three spades, and Dicken had the {5-Spades} and thus harbored additional hopes that a flush might come. Neither the turn nor river brought a spade or five, though, and Dicken is out in 32nd ($19,453).

Keeton Takes One from Seth

Sean Keeton raised to 21,000 from the cutoff, and Anirudh "BKiCe" Seth called from the big blind. The flop came {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. Seth checked, Keeton bet 40,000, and Seth called. Both checked the {A-Clubs} on the turn. The river brought the {5-Spades}. This time Seth bet 94,000, and Keeton made the call.

Seth showed {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for two pair, but Keeton's two pair was better -- he had {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. Seth is now down to 65,000, while Keeton is up to 560,000.

Pan Felled by Feldman's Hammer

Peter Feldman
Peter Feldman
At the start of Level 17, Qinghai Pan had attempted to raise from under the gun, but hadn't accounted for the change in the blinds. Thus the chips he had put out for the raise ended up constituting a call. It folded around to Peter Feldman in the small blind who completed, and the big blind checked.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}, and the betting between Feldman and Pan resulted in the latter being all in with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Feldman's hand? You guessed it. The mighty {2-Spades}{7-Spades}.

The turn was the {A-Spades} and the river the {6-Hearts}, and Pan is out in 35th place, earning $19,453. Feldman is up over 600,000 now.
