Saout Chips Away at Kopp

Antoine Saout opened for a raise from early position and Billy Kopp called from the big blind.

The flop was {K-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {6-Hearts} and Kopp checked to Saout, who bet 375,000. Kopp raised to 850,000 and Saout called. The turn came the {3-Hearts} and Kopp checked again. No check-raise this time-- Saout's small bet of 775,000 was enough to lose Kopp and he raked in the pot, taking his stack up to 8.3 million.

Lamb Picks Up Chips

Following a flop of {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Ben Lamb bet 125,000 from the small blind, Darvin Moon raised to 500,000 from under the gun, and Lamb called. The turn was the {6-Hearts}. This time Lamb checked, Moon bet 500,000, and Lamb called.

Both checked the {7-Spades} river. Lamb showed {10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Moon {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Lamb's tens were good, and he moves to 5.2 million. Moon has 8.1 million.

Adam York Eliminated in 41st Place ($178,857)

Ian Tavelli opened the pot with a raise to 160,000, and Warren Zackey made the call in position. Next to go was Adam York, and he moved all in for a total of 405,000. Both Tavelli and Zackey came along to put York at risk.

The board would run down {9-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {A-Spades} {10-Diamonds} with the two live players checking through the turn. On the river, Tavelli fired out a bet, and Zackey quickly folded. Tavelli tabled {A-Diamonds} {J-Spades} for the Broadway straight, and York frowned as he turned over {K-Diamonds} {K-Clubs}. Top set was no good as York was run down by the four-straight on the board.

With that, Adam York becomes our 41st-place finisher in the Main Event, taking home nearly $180,000 in cash.

Jeff Duvall Eliminated in 42nd Place ($178,857)

Jeff Duvall - 42nd Place
Jeff Duvall - 42nd Place
Jeff Duvall had just been moved to the secondary feature table before the break and upon returning from break, got involved on the flop of {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {2-Clubs} with Jeff Shulman.

The two players found all of the money in the middle with Shulman tabling {2-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. Duvall would need a lot of helping holding {A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs}.

The turn ended things when the {5-Spades} hit the felt. The river completed the board with the {8-Spades} and Duvall was eliminated.

Shulman moved up to 7.5 million.

Montagna Corrado Eliminated in 43rd Place ($178,857)

Montagna Corrado - 43rd Place
During the break, a railbird came to our media desk and asked if there were any more Italian players left in the field. We answered that we weren't sure.

It turns out there was -- until just a few minutes ago. Montagna Corrado of Italy moved all in preflop after Billy Kopp opened with a raise. Kopp quickly called with {J-Spades} {J-Clubs}, a hand in excellent shape against Corrado's {10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}. Jacks held up to send Corrado back to Mother Italy with $178,857 in his pockets.
