Dunst Finds A Way

Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Andrew Chen raised to 2,700 before Tony Dunst three-bet to 7,500 on the button. Chen made the call and they went heads-up to a flop of {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

Both players checked before the {4-Diamonds} hit the turn. Chen checked and Dunst bet 9,000. Chen made the call and the river produced the {8-Diamonds}. Chen checked and again called as Dunst fired 15,000 into the middle.

Dunst tabled {J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for two pair which was too good for Chen as he mucked. Dunst climbed to 97,000

Chen was back down to 21,000 but managed to eliminate a short stack moments later when his pocket jacks held against queen-ten on a {2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} board. Chen sits at 30,000.
