A (Relatively) Bijou Event So Far

It's amazing how quiet it is in the Pavilion Room given that there are 1,600 players in here now, all of them riffling chips. At the moment that's the number of runners registered for today, meaning that the whole field is now assembled just in the Pavilion Room rather than spilling into the Amazon Room - but there are still two good levels in which more folks can join the fun, so we're still expecting a big field.

Let Day 1b Commence!

Good morning and welcome back to the cavernous confines of the Pavilion and Amazon Rooms, where in 20 minutes' time another garagantuan Day 1 field will be embarking upon their $1,000 No Limit Hold'em bracelet adventure.

Yesterday's start day drew 2,601 runners and today is showing every sign of beating that number. Registration is open until the end of level 2, so if you fancy a shot at greatness, you have plenty of time. Other than that, chips and dealers are at the tables, and we should be kicking off very shortly. Watch this space...
