Chan Doubles Through Morgan

Terrence Chan
Terrence Chan

Action folded around to Terrence Chan in the small blind and he raised Jordan Morgan's big blind to 1,200. Morgan made the call. The flop came down {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Chan fired 1,500. Morgan made the call.

The turn card was the {4-Diamonds} and Chan checked. Morgan fired 2,200, which sent Chan into the tank. After a minute or so, Chan announced that he was all in for 7,925. Another minute went by with Morgan in the tank before he made the call.

Chan tabled the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Morgan tried to push his hand into the muck. The dealer stopped him and pushed the cards back in front of Morgan, who was then told to turn his cards over. He held the {J-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and was drawing dead. The river completed the board with the {10-Spades} and finished off the double for Chan, who moved up over 21,000 chips. Morgan dropped back down to 14,250.
