Jaka Finally Puts Leah Away

Mike Leah had a lead in his match with Faraz Jaka when the two men got it all in preflop. Jaka was at risk with {A-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}, but he was in good shape, dominating the {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} of Leah.

The board came {3-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {A-Spades}, and Jaka doubled his way up to 192,000. Leah was down to 48,000.

On the next hand, Leah got those chips in with {K-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}, and Jaka called him with {J-Spades} {7-Diamonds}. There was a jack on the flop and no more help for Leah, and that is going to end the match. After quite the battle, Faraz Jaka has knocked off Mike Leah to move into the next round.

We now have just one third round match left.

Tiller Tapped

Dee Tiller is now on the rail
Dee Tiller is now on the rail

Melanie Weisner opened to 9,800 from the button and Dee Tiller made the call to see a {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop fall.

Tiller checked and Weisner fired out 10,400 with Tiller making the call before insta-checking the {5-Spades} on the turn.

Weisner pushed out a bet of 18,800 only to have Tiller move all in for roughly 82,000. Weisner made the call and we were off to a showdown.

Tiller: {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Weisner: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

With Tiller drawing dead, the {K-Spades} on the river improved Weisner as she progressed through to the next round as Tiller made his way to the rail.

Adams Advances

Ryan Fee was all in for his last 87,000 preflop holding {K-} {J-}. Timothy Adams looked him up with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}, ahead but needing to fade his opponent's live cards to score the knockout.

The board came down {8-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {7-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {4-Clubs}, and that locks it up for Adams. Ryan Fee is out, and Adams has punched his ticket for the next round.

Patel Puts Out

After some heavy preflop action, Emil Patel found himself all in for his last 85,000 against Sam Stein.

Stein: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Patel: {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out a rather undramatic {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} to see Patel eliminated as Stein progresses through to the next round.

Leah Hanging Around

Faraz Jaka raised from the button, and Mike Leah moved all in for about 46,000 with {6-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. Jaka called with {10-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}, racing to knock out the pesky Leah.

Not this time, though. The board fell in Leah's favor: {8-Spades} {4-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {2-Spades}

He's doubled back up to 92,000, putting Jaka on 148,000.
