First of Many Chopped Pots

A three-way pot increased Maria Ho's stack a little bit when she snagged the low half of the pot, but she missed out on a lot more. Ho's {a-Spades} {3-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {9-Hearts} connected exceedingly well with a flop of {2-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}, as she flopped an uncounterfeitable nut low along with several straight draws and a flush draw. Somehow, Ho missed everything on the turn {q-Clubs} and river {k-Spades}. She chopped the pot with a player who tabled {a-Diamonds} {a-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {9-Spades}.

"What a sick flop," another player said. The flop was indeed sick, but the board didn't get sick enough for Ho to scoop.
