Heimiller Quartered but Cruising

Fred Koubi raised preflop, and Dan Heimiller called in the small blind. He bet after the {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop, and Koubi called. Repeat on the {j-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river. At this point, that's pretty pricey. In a heads up pot, a raise and call preflop and a bet and call on each street builds a pot between 420,000 and 465,000 depending on whether the caller is one of the blinds. After Koubi called the third street, Heimiller showed {a-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} for the A-4 low and a pair of eights. Koubi bested him for the top half of the pot and chopped the bottom with {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}.

Despite being quartered, Heimiller has been eating his spinach, err, drinking his tomato juice, and is sitting on 900,000.
