Clark Doubles

Zachary Clark opened from early position and the action folded to a player on the button who moved all in. The blinds released, and Clark made the call.

Showdown
Clark: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Mr. Button: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop pushed Clark into the lead, and he didn't relinquish it on the turn ({7-Clubs}) or the river ({k-Diamonds}).

After winning the race, Clark now sits with 165,000 chips.

Outhred Ousts Raghavan

After a player in the cutoff opened to 15,000, Alex Outhred moved all in from the small blind for 138,000. Ravi "govshark2" Raghavan called all in from the big blind and the original raiser folded.

Showdown
Outhred: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Raghavan: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop fell {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Raghavan stood up to put his backpack on. He needed running clubs, queens or jack-ten to stay alive. The {6-Spades} on the turn fulfilled none of those needs and his knockout was official after the {j-Hearts} rivered.

Raghavan headed to the cage to pickup his winnings while Outhred is still alive with 230,000 chips.

Jarzabek Coolered, Busts Thereafter

Right before break, Casey "bigdogpckt5s" Jarzabek, Josh "brikdog24" Brikis and a short-stacked player were all in preflop:

Showdown
Brikis: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Jarzabek: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Short Stack: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Brikis was way ahead, and the {4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop all but ended the hand. The {6-Clubs} on the turn did just that and after a meaningless {7-Hearts} rivered Brikis was shipped a huge pot more than doubling him to 349,000 chips.

The short-stacked player busted on the hand and Jarzabek hit the rail too after the break.

Seven Heaven

Despite suffering a hit several hands earlier when his {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} was out-flipped by {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} which improved to quads, Andrew Song has battled his way back up to 77,500 after doubling through with {7-Spades}{7-Spades} versus {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. As before, the flop was clinical, a seven from heaven arriving in the window of {6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board to increase his stack two-fold.

Sherwood Burnt Down

Irish Open finalist Rob Sherwood has been eliminated from today's event. He found himself in piping hot water with {A-Clubs}{K-Spades} versus {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. The {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop offered glimpses of a backdoor flush, but the door was firmly shut on the {2-Clubs} turn. An academic {Q-Clubs} later and the Mancherian was sent spinning towards the rail.

Meanwhile, fellow Brit is down to 230,000. "Tens into aces," he reported with a grimace.
