Greenstein Drops One

After a player limped, Team PokerStars Pro Barry Greenstein raised. The big blind and the limper both called. On the first draw, all three players tossed away two cards in order to get two new ones. The big blind checked, the next player bet, Greenstein called and then the big blind folded.

On the second draw, the first player took one and Greenstein took two for the second time. The player then fired a bet into Greenstein, who folded and was left with 20,000 chips.

The Big Matusow Exit

Mike Matusow was all in pre-draw for 1,900 against George Danzer. Danzer drew one and then stood pat on the second and third draw. Matusow drew two one each street. Danzer tabled the {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and won the hand, eliminating Matusow from the tournament and moving up to 25,000 chips.

He didn't get the nickname "The Mouth" for nothing and upon losing the hand Matusow said, "You don't think that I'd ever be able to hit a f***ing card. Brandon Cantu over here, he's the worst, you could point to three random people and you should stake them against Cantu." Matusow then sees Cantu and says, "Oh hey Brandon, how ya doin'?" to which laughter erupts from the surrounding players.

One of the other players in the tournament yelled out, "Mike, you out yet?" as Matusow was giving his rant in the middle of the tournament area.

Matusow Pairs Up

Mike Matusow and an opponent raised back and forth pre-draw to cap the action. Matusow was acting from under the gun and his opponent from the big blind. On the first draw, the big blind drew one and Matusow also drew one. The big blind checked and Matusow bet. The big blind called.

On the second draw, both players discarded one more card each. The dealer burned and accidentally turned up a {6-}. The floor ruled that Matusow would get the next card and then the big blind would get his. This wouldn't alter what Matusow would have gotten, but did alter what the player in the big blind got. The big blind then check-raised Matusow's bet, to which Matusow called.

The big blind stood pat and Matusow drew one more. The big blind fired a bet and Matusow folded, but showed hat he was letting the {7-}{5-}{4-}{4-}{2-} go. He's now down to 3,300 after losing that pot.

Tony G and Number One

From under the gun, Tony G raised and Steve Sung made the call from the cutoff seat. Tony G drew one and Sung drew two. Tony then bet and Sung made the call.

On the second draw, Tony drew one more and Sung drew two. Tony fired again and Sung folded this time. Unofortunately for Tony, he held the big boss of {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}, but couldn't get any more action from Sung. Tony G's up to 18,000 chips.
