Mortensen Razzes Haxton

Level 2

Razz

Isaac Haxton: (X)(X) / {6-}{2-}{5-}{Q-} / (X)
Carlos Mortensen: (X)(X) / {A-}{2-Hearts}{3-}{J-} / (X)

We picked up the action on fifth street in this hand between Isaac Haxton and Carlos Mortensen. On the last break, we did overhear Haxton saying that out of all the games in this mix, he believes the Stud games to be his worst, which could play a role here seeing as this is Razz.

On fifth, Haxton was check-raised by Mortensen and made the call. On sixth, Mortensen bet and Haxton called. On seventh, Mortensen bet and Haxton called. Mortensen turned over {7-}{6-}{6-} and Haxton mucked.

Matusow Shows the Bluff?

Omaha-8

Andrey Zaichenko raised in early position and received calls from Mike Matusow in middle position and Jason Lester in the cutoff. On the {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Zaichenko check-called Matusow’s bet with Lester folding in between then. On the {K-Spades} turn, Zaichenko bet and was met with a raise from Matusow. Zaichenko laid it down and Matusow flipped up {A-}{2-}{3-}{4-} for just a pair of threes as he raked in the pot.
