Williams Has Too Many Full Houses

It's been a good start to the level for David Williams. When we got to the table, Williams was heads up with another player on a flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. It was checked to Williams, who fired out 1,800. His opponent called, and the turn was the {3-Spades}. His opponent moved all in for his last 2,100, and Williams beat him into the pot.

Williams: {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Opponent: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

WIlliams had fives full of threes, which left his opponent drawing dead. The meaningless river was the {2-Hearts}, causing Williams to say "hey I have another full house!". He didn't need it though, as the original full house played. Williams collected the bounty, and upped his stack to 16,000.

Break Time

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

Another two levels are in the books and the field is going on a 20 minute break. During the break, tournament officials will go around and cash in any rebuy chips that have not been cashed yet.

Selbst Getting Short

Last we checked on Vanessa Selbst, she was sitting comfortably at 5,200 in chips. However, we just walked by her table, and saw that on a board of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades}, she had just put in her last 200, and was called by one opponent.

Selbst: {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-}{q-}{2-}{7-}

Selbst had trip jacks that improved to a full house when the river came the {9-Clubs}. Selbst collected the pot, but she only doubled up to 2,100. We will be keeping tabs on her and her short stack.

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We came upon this hand at the turn with a little over 3,000 in the pot. The board showed {7-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {K-Spades} {J-Clubs} and Negreanu moved all in for around 3,000. James Dempsey, directly to his left, took a few good moments to consider his action. He eventually folded and Negreanu flashed {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}.
