Turns Out It Was a Bad Day
We just saw Josh Arieh collect his belongings and leave the tournament area after losing all his chips. It turned out to be a bad day Arieh.
We just saw Josh Arieh collect his belongings and leave the tournament area after losing all his chips. It turned out to be a bad day Arieh.
We caught the action on a very dangerous looking board of . Vanessa Selbst and Jason Senti were in the pot with one other player, and Senti checked to that player, who fired out a bet of 650. Selbst made the call in late position, and Senti released his hand. The board got even scarier when the hit the river, and after about 15 seconds of thought, the player checked to Selbst. She looked at her chips for a bit, and thought for 15 seconds herself, before letting out a huge sigh, looking to the ceiling, and checking herself. Her opponent showed for tens full, and she mucked, dropping her to 5200.

Apparently, Josh Arieh's double dipping didn't go according to plan. He's back at his seat and can focus all his attention here.
golferjosh Joshua Arieh Obviously not a good multitasker. Out of the 5k stud, but have a good pile in PLO. This is where I'm supposed to be anyway! #FKstud

No that isn't a typo in our latest chip counts. Leif Force does in fact have 25,000, which by our estimation crushes everyone else in the field at the moment. Force knows his way around a pot-limit Omaha table. Just last week, Force took down the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha heads up tournament, defeated Jason Koon in the finals. He sure looks to be on a good track to make another good run in this event, though we still have a very long way to go.
We just went through the Bronze and Red Section and found everyone we could.
