Viffer Joins Table of Death

Only Shaun Deeb could be enjoying life seated at the Table of Death. He is currently leading the event with just under 100,000 and has David "VIffer" Peat sitting on his shoulder. Viffer is one of the latest additions to the $ 1 million buy-in, One Drop event. Here is a chip count update from that table and a few Viffer pots.

Viffer raised to 1,000 in mid-position and Brock Parker called in the cutoff. The action checked through to the turn on a board of {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs} {4-Spades} and Viffer check-called a 1,200 Parker bet. The river card was the {2-Diamonds} and Viffer fired out a very quick 3,000 bet and Parker paid his dues.

"Two pair," said Viffer showing {A-Clubs} {2-Clubs}. Parker's hand went into the muck.

Then Shaun Deeb raised to 1,100 in early position and Viffer called one seat over, as did the button. The flop was {J-Spades} {7-Spades} {5-Diamonds} and Deeb bet 1,800, Viffer called and the button folded. The {6-Hearts} was checked through on the turn and finally we saw the {3-Hearts}. Deeb checked, Viffer flicked out a 1,000 bet and Deeb folded his hand.
