Updated Chip Counts

Lindgren Wins a Tense One

Erick Lindgren has just won a nice tense pre flop pot.

Lindgren raised to 2,000 in mid-position, Faraz Bonyadi called in the hijack seat and Matt Marafioti three-bet to 7,900 from the cutoff. Back to Lindgren and he four-bet to 17,000 (leaving 16,000 behind). Bonyadi made the fold and Marafioti went into the tank (with 70,000 behind). Marafioti thought long and hard about his decision before eventually mucking what must have been a very strong hand.

Chris Moorman Bumps Off Mori Eskandani

Mori Eskandani has just been eliminated in a cooler versus Chris Moorman. Eskandani woke up with {A-} {K-} at the same time Moorman found {K-} {K-} and that was the end of Eskandani's hopes of an Event #17 bracelet.

Allen Cunningham Eliminates Dan Kelly

The 2010, $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed World Series of Poker bracelet winner, Dan Kelly has just been eliminated by Allen Cunningham.

The money went in on the turn with Kelly extremely short.

Board: {8-Spades} {5-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Cunningham{J-Hearts} {8-Hearts}
Kelly{A-Clubs} {2-Clubs}

Kelly needed a club to survive but the {10-Spades} was not the card he wanted to see. Cunningham moved up to 50,000 and Kelly was out.

Matt Graham Eliminates Viffer

David 'Viffer' Peat has been eliminated at the hands of the multiple World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner Matt Graham. It was an all-in pre flop encounter with Graham coming from behind to topple Viffer's {10-} {10-} with his {K-} {J-}.

Here is Viffer talking to the delicious dish that is Sarah Grant.

Table #12 Update: Eames Up and Down

Here is the current position over at Table #12

Seat 1Cary Katz - 81,000
Seat 2Jason Senti - 41,000
Seat 3Antonio Esfandiari - 94,000
Seat 4Jeff Lisandro - 32,000
Seat 5Steve Landfish - 125,000
Seat 7Mike McDonald - 76,000
Seat 8Ben Vinson - 70,000
Seat 9John Eames - 5,300

The biggest change is between Eames and Vinson. A quick glance at the pair and we can see that Eames looks like he has swallowed an uncooked Brussell sprout and Ben Vinson looks redder than a radish, so it is safe to assume that Vinson has just crushed Eames in one way or another. A few minutes later and Eames was clawing himself back into contention.

Ben Vinson raised to 1,400 in mid-position and John Eames moved all-in for 5,300 from the hijack. The rest of the table moved out of the way, Vinson called and we had a showdown with Eames at risk of elimination.

Eames{Q-Spades} {Q-Clubs}
Vinson{7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}

Board: {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}

A double up for Eames.

Phil Ivey's right earhole is just about to get a breather!

Kathy Liebert has been eliminated at the hands of Terry Reinhart. We didn't see the hand but our investigations reveal that Reinhart rivered quad queens and Liebert rivered a boat with {K-} {10-} on a board of {K-} {Q-} {x-} {Q-} {Q-}.
