Shawn Buchanan is in unfamiliar territory for this event as his in the short-stack zone.
He raised from under the gun and was called by Julie Schneider in the small blind. She drew one to Buchanan's two, and then check-called a 3,000 bet.
The next round saw Schneider draw one and Buchanan stand pat. Schneider check-called a 6,000 bet before she stood pat. Buchanan changed the mind about the strength of his hand and drew one. This prompted Schneider to bet out 6,000 and Buchanan tank-called.
After losing a handful of pots, Brian Brubaker was left with a few thousand chips, and moved all in from the small blind. Benjamin Lazer called, and both players drew two cards on the first draw.
On the second draw, Brubaker drew two again, and Lazer stood pat. When Brubaker declared he was drawing one more on the third draw, Lazer fanned . Brubaker had outs with , but he paired his deuce, and was eliminated.
Moments later, Bryan Devonshire, who we last counted at 25,000, was eliminated as well.

Stuart Rutter hasn't been able to get anything going since dinner and is desperately short after the last pot.
He opened and was called by Layne Flack on the button and Benjamin Lazer in the big blind. All three discarded two cards and and Rutter bet out. Flack raised and both players called.
A the second time of asking all three drew one card, and then all three checked, and drew one more each. With the last chance to bet all three checked again.
Flack opened up and both opponents folded.
Edit: Rutter was left with just 7,000 chips and busted soon afterwards, and was followed seconds later by Daniel Idema.
Brian Brubaker raised from the cutoff, Benjamin Lazer called on the button, and Josh Arieh defended his big blind. All three players discarded two cards, and the action checked to Brubaker who bet. Lazer called, Arieh check-raised, and only Brubaker called.
Arieh stood pat on the second draw, and Brubaker tossed one card away. Arieh led out, and Brubaker called. The same occurred on the third draw, and Arieh tabled .
He shipped the pot, pushing his stack to around 140,000 chips.
When we reached Table 447, Nam Le, Randy Ohel, and David Baker had just finished the second draw. The action checked to Baker who bet, and both Le and Ohel called. On the last draw, Le discarded one, Ohel stood pat, and Baker drew one. The action checked to Baker who bet again, and only Ohel called.
"Number four," Baker said.
"What?" Ohel responded.
Baker turned over , and Ohel mucked.
"Sorry for speaking unclearly," Baker apologized. "I didn't mean to slow roll you or anything."
Von Altizer seems to be enjoying herself a lot, and with a 200k-plus stack, we can understand why.
Farzad Bonyadi two-bet from the cut-off, Altizer three-bet from the button, and Bryan Devonshire four-bet from the big blind. Both players called.
All the drew one followed by all three checked. All three drew one again followed by a 6,000 bet out from Devonshire. Bonyadi called before Altizer raised. Devonshire smirked before he folded, and Bonyadi called.
Bonyadi drew more more for the last time and Altizer stood pat. No more chips ventured into the middle as both players checked. "Nine," said Altizer and opened . It was good as Bonyadi mucked.
