golferjosh Joshua AriehFinal 18. Probably about 12th in chipsJune 11 2012
The new table is working out well for him. We caught up with a hand between him Brian Brubaker and Arieh bet 20,000 from the button after the action was checked to him. Call.
Brubaker discarded one to Arieh's two. Brubaker check-raised Arieh's bet, who called. Brubaker stood pat and Arieh drew one. Brubaker led again but mucked quickly when two-bet.
When we reached the table, the final draw had already happened, and Thomas Keller was all in. Farzad Bonyadi tossed out a bet into a side pot, and Nam Le folded. Bonyadi showed , and Keller mucked.
We caught the hand where Bryce Yockey doubled his micro stack, but he busted soon after. He called all-in in the big blind for 2,700 after Jason Lavallee two-bet.
Both players drew two cards.
"I'm going to check," jested Yockey. He then drew one to Lavallee's one.
"I should bet here," continued Yockey. Both players then stood pat and Yockey opened and took the pot.
There was no such such luck for Yockey the next time he was at risk.
"He's going to brutalize me," Allen Kessler told us before one of the last hands he played. "Nam Le is drawing three cards. He's going to brutalize me."
Le check-called a bet after the draw, and then drew two on the second draw. Kessler drew one. On the final draw, both players drew one, and then Le lead out. Kessler called, and Le fanned . Kessler showed for a pair of threes, and Le raked in the pot.
We do not expect the frantic rate of eliminations to stop post bubble, at least not for a while anyway. Benjamin Lukas joined the line at the at the payout desk after he was eliminated.
He was down to 4,100 and after raising pre flop he was all-in on the first betting round. Allen Kessler and Daniel Idema both gave him action from the blinds.
On showdown Idema opened , beating Lukas' , and Kessler's .
