An Interesting Prop Bet

Level 5

"Hey Daniel," Shaun Deeb shouted. "We need your opinion on something."

Daniel Negreanu, who's never short on opinions, turned his attention to Deeb.

"What's more likely, Epic [Poker] running their free roll, or Full Tilt [Poker] coming back?" Deeb asked.

"Full Tilt," Negreanu responded without a moment's thought. "Though neither will happen."

"What kind of odds will you give me?" Robert Mizrachi piped up.

"There's a chance that they both come back," John Hennigan added.

"Not if they're run by SCUMBAGS," Negreanu responded, elevating his voice a bit on the end.

The debate is still raging on about this interesting prop, but it doesn't look like any wagers are going to be made.

Oh, Canadians

Limit Hold'em

Canadians Daniel Negreanu and Jonathan Duhamel were heads up with the board reading {9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Spades}. Negreanu led out, and Duhamel called.

The turn was the {6-Diamonds}, and Negreanu led out again. Duhamel called.

The {j-Clubs} completed the board, and Negreanu fired a third bullet. Duhamel called.

"Queens," Negreanu said, tabling {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Duhamel mucked, and Negreanu raked in the pot.

"You Want to Know Something Embarrassing?"

Level 6

Stud 8

Scott Nguyen{x-}{x-} / {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} (FOLDED)
John D'Agostino{x-}{x-} / {2-Spades}{6-Spades} / {k-Clubs} (FOLDED)
Steve Zolotow{x-}{x-} / {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Clubs} / {x-}
Hasan Habib{x-}{x-} / {10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

We reached the table on fourth street, where Zolotow tried to bet 1,200 after pairing, but you can only do that in Stud Hi. He pulled back 600, and Habib and D'Agostino called. On fifth, Zolotow led out, and only Habib called. Habib called one more bet on sixth, and both players checked on seventh.

"Tens up," Zolotow said, tabling {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}.

Habib mucked.

"You want to know something embarrassing?" Zolotow asked the table. "I thought we were playing Stud Hi."
