Brent Wheeler raised from under the gun and Michael Scarborough called from the big blind to see the {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop come down. Scarborough checked and Wheeler bet. Scarborough check-raised and Wheeler three-bet. Scarborough called all in for less and rolled over the {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Wheeler held the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, which gave Scarborough some extra outs for a straight, but the river was the {10-Spades} and sent him to the rail in 17th place.

Robert Ferdinand - 18th Place

Limit Hold'em

Shannon Shorr raised from under the gun and Robert Ferdinand reraised from the cutoff seat. John MacDonald called from the big blind and then Shorr made it four bets to go. Ferdinand and MacDonald called.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and MacDonald checked. Shorr bet and Ferdinand called all in for 4,000. MacDonald then called.

The turn was the {9-Hearts} and MacDonald check-folded to a bet from Shorr. Then Shorr and Ferdinand opened up the hands to see what was cooking.

Shorr held the {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Ferdinand the {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} to be outdone by one on his kicker. The river couldn't save him when the {9-Clubs} fell and Ferdinand was eliminated in 18th place, earning just over $8,000.

Big Double for Behbehani

No-Limit Hold'em

Salman Behbehani raised to 6,500 and Phil Ivey flatted on the button. Simon Lam made the call from the small blind and the flop came down {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Lam checked, Behbehani bet 8,000 and Ivey called. Lam also called.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Lam led for 16,000. Behbehani raised all in for 107,500 and Ivey folded. Lam called with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} for top pair, top kicker. Behbehani held the {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for top two pair.

Wheeler Doubles Through Behbehani

Brent Wheeler
Brent Wheeler

No-Limit Hold'em

Salman Behbehani raised to 6,500 from the hijack seat before Brent Wheeler reraised all in for 56,500 from the cutoff seat. Play folded back to Behbehani and he snapped it off, tabling the {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. Wheeler held the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and it was off to the races for this one.

The flop came down {A-Spades}{K-Spades}{9-Spades} and Behbehani fell behind as Wheeler picked up top pair in his quest to double up. Behbehani did add a flush draw as he held the only spade.

The turn {3-Clubs} was black, but not the spade Behbehani needed. The river was the {3-Hearts} and Wheeler won the pot to stay alive.
