Affleck Flush With Chips

We caught up with the action on a {3-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop in a four-handed pot. Both players in the blinds checked to a player in early position, who bet 600. Matt Affleck raised to 2,400 in middle position and both blinds folded. The original bettor called to see a turn, which came the {J-Hearts}.

Both players checked the turn, however, Affleck's opponent underbet the pot with a 1,500 bet on the {7-Diamonds} river. Affleck paused for a long time and then raised to 3,800 total. His opponent quickly called and Affleck tabled {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flopped flush. His opponent flung {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for trips face up into the muck.

Affleck is up to 24,000.

Heinz's Stack Takes a Hit Right Before Break

We caught up with the action three-handed on a {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. One player checked from early position and a player in middle position fired 1,200 into the pot. Pius Heinz called directly behind him and the first player folded.

The turn brought the {Q-Clubs} and Heinz's opponent fired again - this time for 2,000. Heinz again called to see a river, which brought the {5-Hearts}. Heinz's opponent slowed down and checked, sending Heinz deep into the tank. After about a minute of thinking it through, Heinz checked behind and his opponent revealed {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush. Heinz couldn't beat it and his opponent scooped the sizable pot.

Heinz was knocked down to 5,600 following the hand.

Little Goes Over the Top

A player raised to 500 from under the gun and action folded around to a short-stacked Jonathan Little, who went all in for his last 3,500 from middle position. Action folded back around to the raiser, who mucked his hand after some deliberation.

Little still has a lot of work to do, however, with just 4,300.

Glantz Sent Sailing

A player in middle position opened to 400 and was three-bet to 900 by Matt Glantz from the cutoff. Everyone else got out of the way and Glantz's opponent called.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Glantz's opponent check-called a 900 bet from Glatnz.

The turn brought a {5-Diamonds} and Glantz's opponent again check called - this time for 1,800.

However, when the {J-Hearts} completed the board, Glantz's opponent pushed a large stack of $1,000-denomination chips into the middle, which was enough to put Glantz all in. Glantz called off his remaining chips and his opponent said, "I got there on the river," and revealed {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} for a rivered full-house.

Glantz was stunned and tabled {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for the nut-flush before heading to the rail.
