Ho Stays Alive

After extensive action preflop, we found four players looking down at a flop of {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

Maria Ho moved all in for her final 800 and was called by Jeff Shulman and Chad Brown. John Virtue completed the bet to 2,500 and Shulman and Brown both called.

The turn was the {Q-Clubs} and Shulman checked to Brown who bet out. Virtue folded and Shulamn followed suit. Brown was able to take down the small side pot and tabled {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Ho showed {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for the same hand as Brown and when the {10-Hearts} rivered the two chopped the main pot. This leaves Ho sitting with about 18,000 in chips.

A Double For Ho

Matthew Woodward opened with a raise before the flop. It folded to Maria Ho's small blind and she three-bet the action. Woodward four-bet and Ho five-bet all in. The hands were turned over to see Ho in a dominating position:

Ho: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Woodward: {K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board fell {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Ho's kings were able to score her a crucial double up as we near the money bubble.

Redmann Busts, Hsiung Back Among Leaders

When we reached Table 357, there was about 40,000 in the middle, and the board read {4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Kenny Hsiung checked, Maria Ho bet, and Douglas Redmann called all in for 3,200. Hsiung tank-called, and the river was the {6-Diamonds}.

Hsiung led out, and Ho was visibly upset. She cut out a stack of purple T500 chips, then stacked them back up. She cut them out, stacked them up and shuffled them. Over and over.

Finally, she pushed her cards away, and Hsiung tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for a king-high flush. Reddmann mucked his hand, and a wave of chips was sent Hsiung's way.

Moments later, at an adjacent table, Holger Lindemann bowed out as well.

Fricke Wins With Ace-High

Action folded to Jimmy Fricke's small blind and Fricke tossed out a raise. The big blind called and the flop came {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Fricke continued out and his opponent called.

Both players checked the {5-Spades} turn and the {k-Clubs} rivered. Fricke checked and his opponent tossed out a bet. Fricke mulled over the decision for a moment before tossing in a call. His opponent {Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Fricke's {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} high took down the pot.
