Matt Giannetti, who finished fourth in the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event for $3,012,700, raised from the cutoff only to have Harold Evans three-bet to 33,000 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Giannetti simply moved all in for 126,500.
Evans had about 115,000 behind, so a call would mean his tournament life. He thought long and hard as he agonized on what to do, but ultimately he made the call.

It was a classic flip, but it seems that today the pairs have held in such situations. This hand would be no different as the board ran out , sending a dejected Evans home just shy of the money.
We unfortunately missed the hand, however, according to David Williams' Twitter feed, he got into a preflop raising war with pocket eights against an opponents pocket aces and busted.

World Series of Poker Media Director Nolan Dalla just made an announcement to the remaining players recognizing a truly remarkable feat. Konstantin Puchkov, who won the Event #31 $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event at the 2010 WSOP for $256,820, has now notched a record-tying tenth cash in a single year.
Coincidentally, Puchkov now shares the record with another Russian, the late Nikolay Evdakov, who had ten cashes in 2008.
Matthew Brady opened to 6,000 from under-the-gun and action folded around to Ana Marquez in the small blind, who re-raised to 10,000. Galen Hall folded from the big and Brady called to see a flop, which came .
Marquez led out for 10,000 and Brady called.
When the fell on the turn, Marquez led out again for 20,000, sending Brady deep into the tank. Brady shuffled his chips and thought his decision over for some time, but eventually opted to let his hand go.
Afterwards, Marquez admitted that she has mistakenly raised to 10,000 and meant to make it more. Brady said that he assumed she didn't notice he was in the pot preflop.
In any case, Marquez is up to 110,000 while Brady has slipped to 115,000.
