Anderson Busts One

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Action folded to Calvin Anderson's small blind and he made it 450 to go. The big blind shipped all in for an unknown amount and Anderson snapped him off.

Anderson showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and was racing with his opponent's {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}. The board brought {2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Anderson's club flush was enough to score the knockout. He now has a stack of about 26,000.

Thomas Loses One

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

The button raised to 450 and Russell Thomas 3-bet to 950 in the small blind. The big blind called and the button folded. {5-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{9-Spades} came on the flop. Thomas bet 1,050 and his opponent quickly called. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn and again Thomas fired, this time to 2,100. Again his opponent made the call. The river brought the {j-Spades} and this time Thomas checked. His opponent bet out 3500 and that ended the hand for Thomas. He is now down to 6,900.

Charania's Flush Scores KO

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Mohsin Charania opened to 400 from the button and was called by both blinds. The dealer spread {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades} onto the felt and there were two checks back to Charania who continued for 575. The small blind called and the big blind folded.

The duo saw the {9-Clubs} fall on the turn and both players tapped the table to see the {K-Clubs} hit the river. Charania's opponent fired 1,000 and Charania pushed out a raise that totaled enough to put his opponent all in. Charania's opponent snap called and showed {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a rivered two pair. Unfortunately for him, Charania had {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a club flush.

Charania scored a knockout and is now sitting on about 14,500 in chips.
