Magician's Jacks Cracked

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The flop read {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and a player checked over to Antonio "The Magician" Esfandiari. He fired out 1,375 and his lone opponent called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and it was once again checked to Esfandiari. The Magician moved 2,700 into the center of the table and once again his opponent stuck around. Fifth street was the {K-Diamonds} and Esfandiari was check-called for a third time. Esfandiari tabled {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} but was ultimately behind his opponent's rivered two pair with {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

By taking this hit, Esfandiari's stack has dropped to around 14,000.

A Cooler Before the Break

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

On a board reading {k-}{10-}{j-}{6-} Andrew Dean heard some great news when his opponent announced himself all in. Dean was estactic because he insta-called with the nuts {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and for his opponent {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} was second best. His opponent could only hope for three Aces to chop. The river was the {9-} and Dean's opponent was sent packing. Dean now up to 40,000.
