"You Show Me that Hand or I'll Pound You"

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus opened for 80,000 from the cutoff and received calls from Bill Perkins and Blake Bohn on the button and big blind respectively. The {4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop saw Bohn ship for 605,000 and Ausmus tank-folded. Perkins then hit the tank.

"You can fold, it's ok," Bohn told him. "You don't want to see me with 1.2 million."

Perkins gave it some more thought and then looked pained when he pushed his cards to the dealer. Someone on the rail then told Bohn to show it.

"You show me that hand or I'll pound you in every single pot," Perkins said half jokingly. "Do it, show me that hand."

Bohn let a smile creep across his face and then flipped over the {5-Spades}{2-Clubs} for top pair with an open-ended straight draw. Perkins then claimed to have held two overs with a double-gutted straight draw.

Rajkumar Getting Shorter

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Haralabos Voulgaris opened to 80,000 from the hijack seat, Vivek Rajkumar called out of the big blind, and both players checked on a flop of {4-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades}. The turn was the {a-Clubs}, Rajkumar knuckled again, and Voulgaris tossed out 50,000. Rajkumar called.

The river was the {10-Spades}, Rajkumar checked a third and final time, and Voulgaris bet 125,000. Rajkumar tank-folded.

After losing a sizable pot to Olivier Busquet, Voulgaris is back up to 1.25 million chips. Rajkumar is in the danger zone with 450,000.

Chae Doubles Again

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Nick Schulman opened for 85,000 from early position and was met by an all-in three-bet to 820,000 by Hyoung Chae in the cutoff. Matt Glantz then moved all in for nearly 2.5 million and pushed Schulman out of the pot.

Glantz immediately turned over the {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Chae stood, took a moment and then tabled the superior {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}. The board ran out a lowly {4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Chae's cowboys held to give him yet another double.

Haralabob Busts Rajkumar

Level 19 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Vivek Rajkumar - Eliminated
Vivek Rajkumar - Eliminated

Vivek Rajkumar raised a large majority of his stack from early position, and Haralabos Voulgaris three-bet near the button. Both blinds released, and Rajkumar committed the rest of his stack.

Voulgaris: {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Rajkumar: {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Voulgaris flopped Rajkumar nearly dead when the dealer fanned {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, and it was officially all over when the {4-Hearts} turned. The {9-Hearts} completed the board, and Rajkumar stood from his seat.

"Good luck, gentlemen," he told the table.

He exits short of the money, while Voulgaris now has 1.8 million chips.

Lee's Chances of Survival Dwindle Until they Flatline

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Chris Lee
Chris Lee

A short-stacked Chris Lee moved all in for 345,000 from the hijack and received a call from chip leader Martin Finger in the cutoff. The button and blinds both folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Finger: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Lee: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

It was a classic flip, but according to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Finger was a slight favorite with a 56.65% chance of winning the hand. Lee would still win 42.95% of the time, though that dropped to 24.04% when the {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop provided no help.

The {10-Diamonds} turn saw Lee's chances of survival drop to 13.64%, and the {5-Spades} river flatlined it. Finger's jacks held to send a disappointed Lee to the rail shy of the money.

Down to the Last Card for Schulman

Level 20 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Nick Schulman in the cutoff and he moved all in for 875,000. After the button folded, Hyoung Chae tank-called from the small blind.

Chae: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Schulman: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

Schulman was dominated and in serious trouble of falling before the money. The {7-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop was no help, and the {2-Diamonds} turn brought him one step closer to the exit. Fortunately for Schulman, lady luck would smile on him and deliver the {J-Clubs} on the river. Schulman spiked his three-outer to keep his Big One dreams alive.
