Wilkinson Spikes River to Stay Alive

Level 13

Pot Limit Omaha

The hand started with Jason Gray opening to 13,000 and was called by Lamar Wilkinson in the hijack. The flop came down {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, as Gray bet out 30,000, before Wilkinson thought about his decision, before committing the remainder of his chips into the middle, totalling 43,000. Gray made the call, and both players tabled their cards.

Gray: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Wilkinson: {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The board ran out the {4-Spades} and {9-Spades} to see Wilkinson spike the nine on the river, giving him a jack-high straight.
