Weber Doubles Through Nitsche

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Dominik Nitsche responded to a Matt Weber 4,000-chip open by making it 9,000 on the button.

Weber flatted and checked the {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop, allowing Nitsche to bet out 6,500. Then he shipped it in for 32,500 and Nitsche called instantly.

It was {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for Nitsche against Weber's {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and top pair held on a {6-Hearts}{2-Spades} run out.

Seidel Coolered

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante
Erik Seidel.
Erik Seidel.

Erik Seidel is out after making it 4,300 from early position and responding to an 11,300 Carlos Loving three-bet by making it 24,000 total.

Loving shipped it in, Seidel winced and called with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. Loving held {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}.

No love for Seidel on the {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs} run out and he hit the showers.

Nguyen Flops Gin

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Soi Nguyen opened to 4,500 and was called by Jason Senti. In the small blind, a player three-bet to 13,500, and Nguyen made the call. Senti folded. The small blind pushed all in for his last 30,000 or so on the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Clubs} flop.

"I call," Nguyen said immediately. "I flopped a boat."

He turned over {10-Spades}{9-Spades}, and his opponent was in horrid shape with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The turn brought a {k-Diamonds} for a mild sweat, but the {7-Diamonds} river sent the pot to Nguyen.

Lucchesi Flushes Seidel

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Erik Seidel had been building all day and was up and over 120,000 when he ran into David Lucchesi moments ago.

We saw Seidel bet out 6,600 on a {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop and ponder the call for a minute or two when Lucchesi shoved behind for 42,800. He eventually made the call and was ahead with {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} versus Lucchesi's {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flush draw.

No heart came on the {5-Diamonds} turn, but the {j-Hearts} river completed the flush and handed Lucchesi the pot.
