Ryan Paluf Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,254)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Ryan Paluf - 15th Place
Ryan Paluf - 15th Place

Tom Schneider opened to 23,000, Ryan Paulf raised all in, Scott Clements announced pot, and Schneider folded.

Clements: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Paluf: {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}

The dealer fanned out a {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board and Clements won both the high and low hands, scooping the pot, and busting Paluf.

An Li Eliminated in 14th Place ($12,254)

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
An Li
An Li

An Li opened the action for 30,000 and Philip Sternheimer called out of the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Sternheimer opened for a pot-sized bet which was enough to set Li all in. Li made the call and the two turned their hands over:

Sternheimer: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for two pair, aces and threes
Li: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{2-Spades} for a pair of aces

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} changing nothing as Sternheimer's kicker was better than Li's. The river was the {9-Hearts} and Li would be eliminated in 14th place for $12,254.

Tom Schneider opened to 23,000, David Schnettler raised pot, and Schneider made the call. The two went heads up to a {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop and Schnettler led out with all in bet for his last 20,000. Schneider called, putting Schnettler at risk.

Schnettler: {10-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Schneider: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Spades}

The turn brought the {q-Hearts}, followed by the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Schneider's aces and queens was best and Schnettler hit the rail.

Brubaker Doubles Through Wilkerson Twice

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

In the first hand, Brian Brubaker raised to 26,000, Dylan Wilkerson raised pot, Brubaker raised all in, and Wilkerson called putting him at risk.

Brubaker: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}
Wilkerson: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Spades} and Brubaker scooped up the double.

We missed the action during the second double up, but the dealer was counting Brubaker's stack and Wilkerson was matching it.

Three hands ago, Brubaker had 50,000...

Jared Koppel Eliminated in 12th Place ($15,278)

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Jared Koppel
Jared Koppel

With the board showing {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}, Jared Koppel and J.R. Flournoy would get it all in and Flournoy was at risk holding {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a low draw and nut flush draw while Koppel held {Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a set of threes. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} giving Flournoy a wheel and the river card, the {5-Spades} changed nothing and Flournoy doubled up to 375,000 while Koppel was left with 30,000.

Koppel would triple that up the very next hand but a few moments later he would limp in from the small blind, Tyler Patterson would make it 36,000 to go from the big blind and Koppel would call. When the flop came {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, Koppel moved all in and was quickly called by Patterson who had flopped a Broadway straight with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{9-}{2-}. Koppel had full house outs with his {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} but the turn was the {7-Spades} and the river was the {8-Hearts} and Koppel was eliminated in 12th place for $15,278.
