Chopped Pot for Baron

Isaac Baron was first to act from his seat in the big blind and he checked on the flop. His opponent, seated in the hijack seat, bet 1,300. Baron raised to 4,800 and was called.

Baron then led for 6,500 on the turn and his opponent called, leaving himself 9,500 behind. Those 9,500 chips instantly went into the middle when the flush-completing arrived on the river and Baron had checked. Baron asked for confirmation of the bet amount before calling.

Both players held king-jack, Baron the and his opponent the and the pot was chopped.

You may recall that Baron recently finished fourth in the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event a few days ago and banked a score of $301,369.
