Christopher Claassen Eliminated in 18th Place ($5,238)

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Jeremey Harkin had the bring-in and John Hennigan completed. Christopher Claassen raised to 12,000, and Harkin and Hennigan both called.

Harkin took the betting lead on fourth and fifth streets with Hennigan and Claassen calling each time.

On sixth, Claassen led out for 12,000, Harkin raised to 24,000, and Hennigan folded.

Harkin: {6-Spades}{5-Spades} / {3-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{J-Clubs}
Hennigan: {X-}{X-} / {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Claassen: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} / {Q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

Claassen would need to find a three or deuce to get half, and when he found the {K-Clubs} on seventh, as Harkin found the {K-Hearts}, Claassen would be eliminated in 18th place for a $5,238 payday.

Chop It!

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Single Draw

Chris Vitch made it 8,000 in the hijack and Tommy Hang flatted in the cutoff. Scott Abrams, however, pumped the price to 33,000 out of the small blind. Vitch tanked for a while and called and Hang quickly escaped.

Abrams stood pat and Vitch drew one. Abrams checked to Vitch who tanked for over a minute, but then checked back.

"Nine-eight," Vitch said. "Nine-eight-six-five-two," Abrams replied.

"Chop it!" Vitch reacted, showing {9-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{2-} as well.

"No f***ing way!" Anthony Arvidson shouted. "That's insane!"

Abrams followed with some analysis. "I considered just shoving pre."

O'Dell Keeps Potting It

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Three-way after the first draw, Frankie O'Dell potted for 44,000, forcing folds from Chris Vitch and Scott Abrams to scoop the pot.

The next hand saw O'Dell open again, this time for 14,000. He found two customers again as Hang called in the cutoff and Anthony Arvidson joined them from the big blind.

Arvidson and O'Dell drew two and Hang discarded one. Arvidson checked to O'Dell who followed his strategy, potting it after the first draw. He made it 50,000 and the two remaining players released their hands in the blink of an eye.

Klodnicki Quartered in Big O

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

Big O

Chris Klodnicki raised to 10,000 on the button and Mike Leah defended his big blind.

They got all the money into the pot on the {6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop in the following sequence: Leah checked, Klodnicki bet 16,000 and Leah raised pot.

"OK, I'll just re-pot it," said Klodnicki, making sure they were all-in.

Mike Leah: {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Chris Klodnicki: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Both players had the nut low and Klodnicki observed that Leah was ahead with his sixes. The turn and river bricked for Klodnicki and Leah scooped three-quarters of the pot, gaining 40,400 from his opponent.

"Stupid f***ing game," Klodnicki said in a relaxed tone. "Amateur cbet on the flop!" John Hennigan needled him from across the table.

Tommy Hang Eliminated in 17th Place ($5,238)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Tommy Hang - 17th place
Tommy Hang - 17th place

Razz

Tommy Hang completed and Frankie O'Dell raised. Hang was short from a previous Omaha Hi-Lo hand where O'Dell scooped him with the nut low and a pair of eights. Consequently, Hang called all-in following O'Dell's raise.

Unfortunately for Hang, he made a {10-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-} low while O'Dell made a {10-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} low to eliminate Hang in 17th place.
