Steinberg Doubles Up

Level 25 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Max Steinberg called and Jason Mo opted to check. The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}, Mo check-called the 3,000 bet of Steinberg. They both checked through the {10-Diamonds} on the turn to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Mo bet 10,000 and Steinberg folded instantly.

A few hands later, Steinberg called again and Mo opted to check once more. They both checked through the {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} on the flop to the {a-Hearts} on the turn. Mo check-called the 5,000 bet of Steinberg. The river completed the board with the {9-Diamonds} on which they both checked anew. Mo tabled {K-Hearts}{2-Clubs} which was good enough to take the pot.

Mo now put Steinberg all-in and Steinberg called after thinking about it for a minute or so.

Max Steinberg: {A-Hearts}{2-Spades}
Jason Mo: {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} - the deuce on the flop was enough for Steinberg to double up for the 38,200 he had in front of him.
