Foxen and Wong Clash

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Danny Wong raised to 22,000 from mid-position and was called by Alex Foxen in the cutoff.

The flop brought them the {7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, Wong continued with a bet of 43,000 and Foxen called once more.

They both checked through the {9-Diamonds} on the turn to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Wong now checked, Foxen bet 67,000. Wong contemplated his options and then raised to 175,000. Foxen asked the dealer for a count and the dealer confirmed the amount. Foxen grabbed some chips, looked at his cards again and reluctantly folded.

The hand after that, Wong raised to 22,000 again but now from early position, Foxen three-bet to 70,000 from the hijack and everyone else folded including Wong.

No Comeback for Israelashvili

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Roland Israelashvili
Roland Israelashvili

Left with crumbs after the hand against John Racener, Roland Israelashvili waited patiently before sticking the last bits in. Racener made a small raise to 30,000 on the button and the big blind called.

Both players checked the {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. The big blind bet 21,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn and Racener called, but another 21,000 on the {2-Clubs} river was folded by Racener.

The big blind showed {4-Spades}{3-Spades}, Israelashvili had {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and was gone shortly before the money.

Sangha Takes From Cada

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Joe Cada opened from middle position and Harsukhpaul Sangha defended his small blind.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Sangha check-called a bet of 24,000. Sangha then checked dark before the turn {7-Hearts} was dealt. Cada checked back, and the pair checked down the {9-Hearts} river.

Sangha showed {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and that was good enough to take down the pot.

Racener Doubles Through Israelashvili

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

"It's a set up," said Roland Israelashvili, holding {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} against the {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of John Racener. Israelashvili was on the button, while his opponent was in the small blind.

The board ran out {7-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Racener doubled up, leaving Israelashvili with around two big blinds as the level ticked over.

Another Bounty for Blair

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Eric Blair was up for a decision as his opponent had gone all-in after he checked. After some careful consideration, he decided to call.

Opponent: {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Eric Blair: {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Blair had flopped top pair so just needed to avoid another jack or ten to not have to double his opponent up and take the bounty.

The rest of the board was completed with the {3-Diamonds} on the turn and the {7-Hearts} on the river. No danger as the pot and the bounty was awarded to Blair.

Updated Counts

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Fox Busts Johnson

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Elio Fox opened to 17,000 on the button and Chris Johnson three-bet all in from the big blind for 208,000. Fox called.

Elio Fox: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Chris Johnson: {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

There was a queen on the {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, and Johnson was drawing dead on the {k-Diamonds} turn. The river was the {5-Hearts} and Fox added another bounty to his stack as his table broke. There are now 54 players remaining and only 37 places paid.

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

John Racener raised to 6,000 from the button. Jeff Hill shoved for 56,000 in total from the small blind. Bryn Kenney (big blind) also shoved with the much bigger stack. Racener thought about it for a bit but opted to fold.

Jeff Hill: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Bryn Kenney: {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} - no danger for Hill as he doubled up.
