Peters Does Everyone a Favor

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters opened from the cutoff and Justin Bonomo called from the small blind. The big blind stuck around as well and the flop came down {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Action checked to Peters who then bet 26,000 and Bonomo quickly moved all in. Action folded back to Peters who snapped him off. Peters tabled {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines and Bonomo showed {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for a straight draw.

The turn fell the {a-Hearts} and Bonomo would need to get lucky on the river, but failed to do so when the {5-Diamonds} fell on the felt. Peters took down the pot and maybe even more exciting to the rest of the field, he eliminated the hottest running player in the world.

Bonomo Loses a Pot..."Are you sure?"

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened to 17,000 from under the gun and was called by David Peters in the small blind along with the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Peters jammed all in for 83,000. The big blind folded and Bonomo instantly called.

David Peters: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Justin Bonomo: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

Bonomo flopped a set of fives but Peters had an open-ended straight draw. The turn bricked with the {7-Diamonds} but the {k-Spades} on the river was exactly what Peters was looking for to double up.

"Are you sure?" Bonomo asked the dealer, confirming that he actually lost a hand.

"When was the last time you busted a tournament, Justin?" Dominik Nitsche asked beside him.

"2017," Bonomo responded with a laugh.

Sick Run Out for Kenney

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Bryn Kenney
Bryn Kenney

The action folded to Jan Christoph Von Halle in middle position who shoved all in for 108,000. Bryn Kenney called from the cutoff and the two hands were tabled. Kenney was in a dominating position with {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} against Von Halle's {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Kenney was in prime position to score the knockout. The {k-Diamonds} on the turn gave Von Halle a pair of kings and the {k-Hearts} on the river improved him to trip kings. The table was in shock with the runout and Kenney was left with just 6,500 chips.

In the very next hand, Von Halle was faced with a raise to 12,000 from early position and he three-bet to 42,000. Kenney stuck in his last few chips and the initial raiser called as well. The flop fell {10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Von Halle bet 64,000, forcing his opponent out of the pot. Kenney turned over {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Von Halle held {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. The board ran out two more hearts and Von Halle made a flush to eliminate Kenney.

Schindler Won't Show

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jake Schindler
Jake Schindler

The board read {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} with around 45,000 in the middle and the action was on Richard Tuhrim in the big blind. He tossed in a bet of 17,000 and Jake Schindler thought for a minute before raising to 75,000 in early position. Eric Blair folded in middle position and the action was back on Tuhrim.

He thought for a couple of minutes and then finally looked back at his cards, which is usually a good sign of folding. Tuhrim shook his head as if he didn't believe Schindler but still opted to fold.

"Show me one," Tuhrim pleaded to Schindler who was still holding on to his cards. Schindler played with his cards and thought about but sent them face down into the muck. "I'm not bluffing the guy that called with six-deuce," Schindler said with a big grin on his face.
