Moshe Coolered by Amato

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Three-way to a {4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{A-Hearts} flop, David Peters checked in the small blind and Asi Moshe led out 90,000 from the big. Preflop aggressor John Amato raised to 350,000 on the button and Peters had no more business in the hand.

Moshe, on the other hand, raised all in and Amato quickly called.

Asi Moshe: {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
John Amato: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}

Moshe flopped top two but Amato was ahead with his bottom set. Moshe hoped for spiking his four remaining outs, but the {J-Spades} and {2-Hearts} sealed it for Amato, whose stack was counted at 910,000.

Tuhrim Dubs Through Gagliano

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Eric Blair raised in early position but that was the end of his part as other players took over. Blair's left-hand opponent Richard Tuhrim went all in for 285,000 and Michael Gagliano re-pushed 560,000 from the big blind. Blair folded.

Richard Tuhrim: {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}
Michael Gagliano: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board ran queen-high and Tuhrim doubled up.

Truong and Tuhrim Jam

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jeremy Wien raised to 80,000 and Asi Moshe called in the small blind. The flop came {Q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {J-Spades} turn, Moshe bet 120,000 and Wien folded. "A really good flop," Moshe smirked and showed the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

Richard Tuhrim moved all in from early position over on the other table and claimed the blinds and antes.

Then, David Peters made it 70,000 to go and Moshe called, as did Wien in the big blind. The {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop was checked by Wien. Peters bet 85,000 and won the pot right there.

One hand later, the other short stack Patrick Truong moved all in for 10 big blinds and scooped the blinds and big blind ante.

Second Break of the Day

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Richard Tuhrim defended his big blind against a raise by David Laka and the duo checked through a {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Tuhrim checked and folded to a bet of 85,000 by Laka.

David Peters won the last two hands on his table, first in a three-way pot against Asi Moshe and chip leader Jeremy Wien, before taking on John Amato. The latter raised to 55,000 on the button and Peters came along from the small blind. The {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and {2-Diamonds} turn went check, check, and a bet of 120,000 by Peters on the {7-Clubs} river forced a fold.

Players then headed on a 15-minute break, in which the T$1,000 chips will be raced off.

Peters Catches Truong

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

David Peters raised on the button and Patrick Truong called out of the big blind.

Peters continued with a 60,000-bet on the {10-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades} flop, but Truong countered with a huge check-raise, making it 215,000. Peters stuck around, calling, and both players checked the {A-Hearts} turn.

The {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Truong tried to steal the pot with a final bet of 180,000. Peters, however, called and Truong showed {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a busted combo draw. Peters revealed his {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} and claimed the pot, wounding Truong's stack.

Gagliano Can't Call on the River

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Michael Gagliano defended his big against a raise from Eric Blair (cutoff). Gagliano then check-called another 95,000 on the {6-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Spades} flop and Blair kept his foot on the gas pedal, firing 155,000 on the {10-Clubs} turn. Gagliano called again.

The river card was the {8-Spades} and Gagliano checked one more time. Blair asked to see how many big chips worth 100,000 apiece Gagliano had left. It was five, and Blair moved all in for around 600,000 effectively. Gagliano laid his hand down.

Peters Gets Some Back

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Richard Tuhrim raised to 55,000 on the button and folded to a jam of Michael Gagliano in the big blind. Tuhrim's open-shove soon after went through uncalled, but he remains the shortest stack among the last 11 hopefuls.

Over on the other table, a limped pot in a battle of the blinds emerged and the flop showed {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. David Peters bet 30,000 and Asi Moshe raised to 90,000, which Peters called. Both checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and Peters' bet of 170,000 on the river was called by Moshe. Peters showed {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a flush and that won the pot.

Moshe Gets Value from Peters

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

David Peters defended his big blind against Asi Moshe's raise from the first position.

Mose blasted three barrels on the way to the showdown, earning three more calls from Peters.

The board was {3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Moshe fired 50,000 on the flop, followed by 140,000 and 245,000 on the turn and river, respectively. Peters took three minutes or more before making the river call. Moshe turned up {K-Spades}{J-Hearts} and Peters mucked his hand.

Jason Remshardt Eliminated in 12th Place ($27,208)

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Jason Remschardt
Jason Remschardt

Down to his last 142,000, Jason Remshardt moved all in from the button and John Amato in the big blind asked for a count. Amato eventually called and the cards were turned over.

Jason Remshardt: {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}
John Amato: {10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Amato took the lead on the {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop, while Remshardt spiked the {A-Hearts} on the turn to let out a shy "yes, yes." Amato needed a ten, four, or trey to deal the final blow, and indeed the {4-Spades} appeared on the river to eliminate Remshardt in 12th place for a payday of $27,208.
