Bad Beat for Peters

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 15,000 and David Peters three-bet for 40,000. After some thought, the initial raiser called and the dealer revealed a flop {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The first player shoved all in for 86,000 and Peters opted to make the call.

David Peters: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
His opponent: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Peters was ahead but a {j-Spades} on the turn gave the advantage to his opponent. The {2-Spades} river didn't change anything and Peters fell down to 46,000.

In the first hand, the board was showing {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} when Jared Griener checked in the small blind. David Peters bet 15,000 and Griener made the call. Peters tabled {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of queens and Griener mucked his hand.

The hand after, the player under the gun opened for 11,500 and it was called by the player one seat over. Peters announced all-in for 100,000. After some thought, his two opponents folded their hands.

Tymms On the Rise

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

In a raised pot with two players involved, the flop was showing {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} when the small blind checked. Steven Tymms bet 25,000 and it was called by the first player.

Both players checked on the {6-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river. The small blind player showed {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, and Tymms {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the winning hand.
