Lyndaker Forces Out Morgenstern

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

With 330,000 in the pot on a flop of {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Richard Lyndaker checked out of the big blind and Anton Morgenstern bet 125,000. Wong Gets a Fold from Shack-Harris

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jerry Wong opened to 135,000 from under the gun and Brandon Shack-Harris, who was next to act, three-bet the pot to 495,000. Action folded back around to Wong and he called after brief consideration.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}, Wong moved a stack of green T-25,000 chips forward to bet 500,000, Shack-Harris folded, and Wong took the chips.

Makarov Builds Stack

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Alexey Makarov raised to 140,000 and Jerry Wong came along from the button. On the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, Makarov carefully prepared a bet of 215,000 and slid it forward, Wong called. Makarov checked the {3-Spades} turn and Wong bet 300,000. Makarov was deep in the think tank and took three minutes before check-raising for the size of the pot, which resulted in a snap-fold by Wong.

One table over, Richard Lyndaker raised to 125,000 on the button, Mike Leah three-bet to 435,000 from the small blind with 490,000 behind and Lyndaker folded after some consideration with the words "you are running too pure."

"I can't do it," Leah said, checked his cards and flashed the {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

Rep Porter was in the hijack and bet 200,000 into an existing pot of about 250,000 on a {K-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop. Scott Bohlman called from the button.

The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn and Porter checked. Bohlman bet what looked like 500,000, and after some consideration, Porter folded and Bohlman took the pot.

Kopp Doubles Through Klein

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

William Kopp raised the pot first to act and was called by Loren Klein on the button. Kopp pushed all in for 175,000 on the {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop and Klein started some table talk.

"I guess you have top set," Klein said, shrugging and making the call.

William Kopp: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Loren Klein: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

"Ah, you have the real hearts, but the fake clubs," Klein joked, referring to the respective flush draws of both players. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {Q-Spades} river let Kopp double with the nut straight and he remained in contention.

Tsang Chips Up, Morgenstern Doubles

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

In the last hand of the previous level, Anson Tsang raised first to act and Brandon Shack-Harris called in the big blind. On the {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop, Shack-Harris checked and called a bet worth 190,000 before the {4-Hearts} appeared on the turn. Shack-Harris checked once more and Tsang bet the pot for 650,000 with fewer than that behind, which won the pot without further resistance.

Rep Porter raised to 130,000 on the button and Anton Morgenstern three-bet the pot out of the small blind for 450,000. Once the action was back on Porter, he raised and Morgenstern called all in for 580,000.

"I got em," Morgenstern smirked before turning over his cards.

Anton Morgenstern: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Rep Porter: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The board came {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{K-Clubs} and Morgenstern dodged a gutshot to double.

Aaron Duczak Eliminated in 14th Place ($42,032)

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Aaron Duczak
Aaron Duczak

Aaron Duczak got his stack in on a {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop against Richard Lyndaker, who had him covered.

Aaron Duczak: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Richard Lyndaker: {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Duczak found himself trailing Lyndaker's flopped set and needed to improve to survive. The {10-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river missed Duczak and further improved Lyndaker to a boat, so Lyndaker took the pot to end Duczak's run in this event.

"I should have potted pre," said Duczak as he exited the tournament area.

Leah a Millionaire Again; Makarov Takes from Shack-Harris

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Mike Leah raised to 175,000 in the cutoff and Anton Morgenstern called in the small blind. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop, Morgenstern checked and folded to a bet.

Over on the other table, Brandon Shack-Harris limped the small blind and Anson Tsang raised to 150,000, Shack-Harris called. The {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop brought no action and a bet of Shack-Harris on the {3-Clubs} turn for 85,000 forced a fold from Tsang.

Alexey Makarov limped in first to act and Shack-Harris did so from the button, Loren Klein in the big blind checked. No betting action took place on the {J-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and Klein checked the {A-Diamonds} turn, Makarov bet 150,000 and just Shack-Harris came along. Makarov then bet the {6-Spades} river for 375,000 and that sent Shack-Harris into the think tank.

"That is such a weird bet," he said... after almost two minutes Shack-Harris called and Makarov rolled over the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{8-Spades}{3-Spades} for a set, which won the pot.

Shack-Harris Makes Klein Fold in Massive Pot

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Brandon Shack-Harris opened to 115,000 from middle position, Loren Klein three-bet the pot from the cutoff to 420,000, and Shack-Harris went into the tank for about a minute before he four-bet to 1.35 million. Klein called.

The flop came {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Shack-Harris shoved for about 700,000, sending Klein into the tank.

"I've got a big draw," Klein joked.

"I expect nothing less," replied Shack-Harris as he rested his head over his crossed arms atop the table.

"You don't have to hide. There's no read."

"Oh, I'm just taking a nap... You've got that three-to-king straight draw?"

"Show me diamonds and spades," Klein said as he ultimately folded several minutes later. Shack-Harris tabled {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and said he didn't have diamonds. Klein let out an expletive as Shack-Harris dragged the biggest pot of the tournament thus far.
