Muehloecker's Set Holds Up

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a board reading {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Tobias Ziegler was the first to take a shot at the pot with a bet of 28,000. Thomas Muehloecker raised to 81,000 in position and the action was on Stephen Chidwick. He chose to check-raise to 175,000 which quickly got Ziegler out of the pot. Muehloecker, however, shipped all in for 197,000 and Chidwick instantly called.

Thomas Muehloecker: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Stephen Chidwick: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Muehloecker held a set of fours but Chidwick was certainly drawing live with a straight and flush draw. The {8-Clubs} on the river only gave Chidwick a pair and Muehloecker was awarded with the double-up.

Hunichen Forces a Fold From Tilston

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On the button, Chris Hunichen opened with a raise to 13,000. Keith Tilston was in the small blind and he three-bet, making it 45,000. Hunichen called.

The flop was {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Tilston checked to Hunichen who bet 45,000. Tilston called.

Both players proceeded to check on the {8-Diamonds} turn to see the {6-Spades} come on the river. Tilston checked for a third time and Hunichen put out a bet of 110,000. Tilston thought his way through two time extensions before eventually laying his hand down. Huni took the pot and moved over 600,000 while Tilston dropped to just over 400,000.

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

There was around 50,000 in the middle preflop and the dealer spread the flop of {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The action checked to Igor Kurganov on the button who bet 35,000. Rainer Kempe check-raised to 82,000 from under the gun and Christian Christner flat-called from middle position. Kurganov tank-shoved all in for 161,500 and was called by both Kempe and Christner.

The turn brought the {q-Clubs} and both remaining players opted to check. The action was the same on the {2-Diamonds} river card and all three hands were tabled. Kempe held {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Christner whipped over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Kurganov, however, tabled the winner with {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and scored himself a triple-up to back over a starting stack.

The board read {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and the action was checked to Andreas Eiler who bet 76,000 from middle position. David Eldridge was in the big blind and check-called the bet from Eiler.

The {6-Clubs} landed on the river and Eldridge led out for 155,000. Eiler wasted little time before shipping all in for 541,500. Eldridge went into the tank for nearly the maximum amount of time before his hand would be declared dead, and then tossed in a chip to call.

Eiler tabled {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a full house and Eldridge flashed the {5-Clubs} before this cards hit the muck. When the chips were counted, Eiler barely had Eldridge covered and sent him to the rail.

Holz Put on a Short Stack; Fox Over a Million

Level 6 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Elio Fox
Elio Fox

On the turn with the board showing {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, Elio Fox was first to act from the big blind. He checked his option over to Fedor Holz who put out a bet of 27,000. Fox thought for a bit before check-raising, making it 85,000. Holz thought briefly, then called.

The river was the {9-Spades} and Fox continued firing. This time, he made it 225,000, more than half of Holz's remaining stack. Holz thought for about 20 seconds then called, but was dismayed to see Fox's {A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for two pair. Fox took down the pot and moved over a million while Holz was left with just over 100,000.

Ben Lamb opened with a raise to 15,000 from the hijack seat. Action folded around to the big blind where Stephen Chidwick defended with a call.

The flop was {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Chidwick checked over to Lamb. Lamb put out a bet of 20,000 and Chidwick called.

On the {7-Spades} turn, Chidwick checked for a second time. Lamb put out a bet of 53,000. Chidwick thought through the majority of his time and then raised, making it 200,000. Lamb called.

The river was the {3-Clubs} and Chidwick put out a bet of 150,000. Lamb thought briefly before making the call. Chidwick showed his {5-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a straight and that earned a muck from Lamb, allowing Chidwick to take down the pot and add to his already big stack.
