Kassela Runs Riot to Leave Ospina Short

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Cary Katz: {X-}{X-} / {2-} fold
Frank Kassela: {X-}{X-} / {8-}{6-}{5-}{Q-} / {X-}
Daniel Ospina: {X-}{X-} / {6-}{5-}{K-}{6-} / {X-}

It started rather innocuously with a completion by Cary Katz and a call by Frank Kassala. Daniel Ospina raised and Katz made it three bets.

"Let's cap it, get it in," Kassela said and made it four bets, further adding "this is the World Series of Poker, that's how you win a bracelet.". Ospina then indeed capped it, Katz folded and Kassela called while looking over to Katz and asking him why he folded.

Ospina bet fourth and Kassela called. Kassela bet fifth and sixth, Ospina called both times. Kassela bet fifth, Ospina raised and Kassela called.

Ospina rolled over {4-}{3-}{2-} and Kassela had that beat with the {A-}{3-}{2-}. During the hand the comments and needles between Kassela and Katz kept going, while a visibly frustrated Ospina stood up from the table and had to take a walk.

"You can't play this hand any worse," Ospina added and Kassela replied, "In the end, probably."

When Ospina said back down, he had one last thing to say: "Let me show you how to win a bracelet!" Ospina will have to stage a massive comeback to do so in this event, as he was left with a mere two big bets.
