Le Saved by Jack-Ball on Turn

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A three-way all in saw Nam Le race for his last 22,700 with {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} against {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The flop of {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts} was disastrous for Le but he hit the {J-Clubs} on the river and dodged all the lethal outs on the {6-Hearts} river to score a full triple-up.

Wheeler Folds the River

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Under the gun, Jason Wheeler opened to 5,400, getting two calls from the button and small blind. Wheeler fired a continuation bet when the {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Hearts} landed but the player on the button stuck around, calling.

They went heads-up to the {3-Diamonds} turn which was checked and Wheeled checked the {J-Diamonds} river as well. His opponent slid in 10,000 and Wheeler gave up.

Farrell Climbing

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

There was a massive pot of about 75,000 in the middle and the board read {J-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Niall Farrell was in middle position and heads-up against a player in early position who checked. Farrell bet 35,000, and after some thought, his opponent folded and Farrell took the pot.

West Quadruples a Micro-Stack

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Tim West was running on fumes and was all in in the big blind for 1,900. The button raised, the small blind folded, and the two live players tabled their hands.

Tim West: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Button: {A-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

The two players were racing for the pot and West needed his hand to hold up in order to survive. The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and West took the pot to more than quadruple up.

Hennigan Doesn't Have Quads

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Denis Timofeev raised to 4,000 under the gun and John Hennigan three-bet to 11,000 in the middle position. Small blind Jimmy Guerrero cold-called and Timofeev got out of the way.

Hennigan checked back the {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} flop and the {J-Spades} hit the felt. Guerrero checked, Hennigan bet 17,500, and Guerrero called. The {J-Clubs} completed the board and Guerrero spent about a minute playing with his chips, thinking about his turn.

"You have quads again?" Guerrero asked Hennigan.

"It would be funny if you had quads," Hennigan replied.

Guerrero then tossed in a bet of 29,500 and Hennigan spent about a minute in the tank. "I'll show you if you want," Guerrero offered but Hennigan didn't ask for it.

"I'm not raising," Hennigan announced after a while. Then he took another 30 seconds before laying his hands down. Guerrero raked in the pot and released his hand face down.

Jamie Kerstetter
Jamie Kerstetter

Jamie Kerstetter was on the button and got her entire 39,600-chip stack in the middle before the flop against Cory Waaland, who was in the cutoff and had her covered by a fair margin.

Jamie Kerstetter: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}
Cory Waaland: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

Waaland found himself trailing Kerstetter's aces and needed to improve to win. The board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Kerstetter's aces held for the double-up.
