Gorodinsky Takes a Big Chunk Out of Rutter

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Stuart Rutter opened with a raise and he was called by Mike Gorodinsky in the big blind.

The flop was {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades} and both players checked to see the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. There, Gorodinsky led out and was called.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Gorodinsky led out again. Rutter called.

"Sixes full," Gorodinsky said showing {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{X-}{X-} for a full house. Rutter mucked his hand and Gorodinsky took down the pot.

Ratigan Loses Nearly All

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a {10-Spades}{A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} flop, Robert Mizrachi bet, Scott Bohlman called and Daniel Ratigan called as well. Mizrachi instantly fired the {6-Diamonds} turn, Bohlman folded and Ratigan called. Another snap-bet by Mizrachi on the {9-Clubs} river got called by Ratigan.

Mizrachi tabled the nuts; {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{5-Clubs}; and Ratigan was left with a mere 12,000 on the bubble.

Ramos Scoops Yakovenko

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

In the last hand before the three table redraw, Nikolai Yakovenko raised first to act and Felipe Ramos in the small blind made it three bets, Yakovenko called. On the {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop, Ramos bet and Yakovenko raised, the Brazilian called. After the {6-Hearts} on the turn, Ramos slowed down and checked before calling a bet.

The {6-Clubs} river completed the board and Ramos check-raised to pick up a call from Yakovenko. Ramos showed {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} for a full house and a frustrated Yakovenko turned over {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for a straight with the words "so sick. I am a huge favorite on the flop also."

Runner-Runner Wrecks Ryynanen

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Sampo Ryynanen
Sampo Ryynanen

Sampo Ryynanen opened, Adam Coats three-bet and Ryynanen called.

On the {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} flop, Ryynanen slid his last 8,000 forward and Coats called.

Sampo Ryynanen: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Adam Coats: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Ryynanen was miles ahead with his ace-king but a brutal rundown of {5-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} improved Coats to a flush. Ryynanen became the 28th place finisher and just missed out on a money finish.

Lenaghan Chopped Up by Linde and Martin

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Ryan Lenaghan was all in and at risk before the flop against Dylan Linde and Jesse Martin.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Martin led out with a bet from the blinds. Linde made it two bets and Martin thought for a bit before calling.

On the {7-Clubs} turn Martin checked, Linde bet, and Martin raised enough to put Linde all in. Linde called.

Dylan Linde: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Jesse Martin: {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Ryan Lenaghan: {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

The river was the {7-Diamonds} so Linde took down half the pot with his ace-three for a low while Martin claimed the high portion of the pot with his nut diamonds. Lenaghan wasn't able to claim any portion of the pot and was eliminated from the tournament.

No Comeback for Duhamel

Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

Down to 10,000, Jonathan Duhamel tried to spin it up and went all in from under the gun for exactly one big blind. Dylan Linde and Viacheslav Zhukov came along to try and score the knockout.

After {K-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Hearts} got checked down, Linde showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Duhamel {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} to chop.

With 15,000, Duhamel was all in again in the next hand against Zhukov.

Jonathan Duhamel: {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Viacheslav Zhukov: {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}

The dealer spread out {5-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} to give Zhukov a wheel and the knockout.

Dirksen Chops with Zinno and Ryynanen

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On the flop of {K-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Dustin Dirksen checked and called a bet by Anthony Zinno before the {8-Hearts} on the turn was checked. After the {7-Hearts} river, Dirksen checked once more and called all in for 14,000.

"I scoop," Dirksen said in table chat and showed his {A-}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for trips and a low. However, Zinno showed {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a straight and claimed the high pot. "I didn't see you only had so few chips left, I was going for the check raise. I also missed a bet on the turn," Dirksen added.

Soon after he put the next short stack at risk when the chips went in after a {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs} turn. Dirksen turned over {A-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and Sampo Ryynanen had the {J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. The {8-Diamonds} fell on the river and again the pot was chopped.

Matusow Finally Gets There Through Zhukov

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} Mike Matusow checked, then raised when Viacheslav Zhukov bet. Zhukov called.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Matusow checked, then called a bet from Zhukov.

On the {4-Spades} river, Matusow led out with just a bit behind. Zhukov called.

"Nut flush, nut low," Matusow said revealing his {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Zhukov mucked and an excited Matusow stood up from his chair. "Finally!" he said clapping his hands as he nearly doubled up to over 200,000 chips.
