Heimiller Gets River Value

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Heimiller (earlier in the Main Event)
Dan Heimiller (earlier in the Main Event)

Table #456 in Amazon Purple boasts one of the most stacked line-ups in the field today as Cliff Josephy, Paul Volpe, Daniel Alaei, Stephen Song and Dan Heimiller are all seated at the same table. Two of them, Heimiller and Josephy, tangled in a hand with Gionni Demers.

On a {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} board, Josephy bet 21,000 out of the small blind, Demers called and Heimiller called as well on the button. The {10-Clubs} river was checked to Heimiller, who bet 25,000. Josephy, visibly unpleased, folded after some thought, while Demers called it off.

Heimiller tabled {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and won the hand with tens over kings.

Moore Doubles Through Van Sanford

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Moore got his last 60,000 all in pre-flop holding {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} against the {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} of Ryan Van Sanford. The dealer fanned the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop and Moore flopped trip aces to take control of the hand.

The turn {q-Hearts} and river {6-Diamonds} were no help to Van Sanford and Moore earned the double up.

A Few Updated Chip Counts From Amazon Gold

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Boujmala Eliminates Garshofsky

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After an under-the-gun open to 15,000, Mitch Garshofsky jammed for about 80,000. Samy Boujmala reshipped for a little under 200,000 on the button and the opener mucked {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} face up. Boujmala showed {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

"That's not good," Garshofsky said, revealing {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}.

Indeed, the {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board brought little hope for Garshofsky and he headed for payouts.

The flop landed {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Spades} and action checked to Hicks who bet 25,000. Rivas called, and McDermott folded, as the turn landed the {10-Diamonds}.

Rivas checked, Hicks bet 30,000, and Rivas deliberated for over two minutes before folding.

Pacheco Doubles Through Williams

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Robert Williams opened for 14,000 in middle position and Shane Pacheco shoved on his left for 102,000. Williams called with {a-Hearts}{8-Spades} but trailed the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} of Pacheco. The {k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts} board brought little to worry Pacheco and he scored a double.

Cheung Takes From Trudeau

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Catching the action on a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} Park Yu 'Sparrow' Cheung was first to act from the blinds. He checked it to Jeff Trudeau, his only opponent, and Trudeau checked back.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Cheung opted to bet, making it 25,000. Trudeau called and the two headed to the river.

On the {J-Spades} river, Cheung put out another bet, this time for 40,000. Trudeau called but mucked when Cheung showed {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for three nines and that allowed him to take down the pot.

Ryan Laplante
Ryan Laplante

The action folded to Ryan Laplante in the cutoff and he moved all in for 81,000. Ryan Van Sanford folded the button and Or Ben re-shoved all in from the small blind for about 240,000. The big blind folded and the hands were shown.

Or Ben: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Ryan Laplante: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

The dealer spread the {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop and Ben improved to middle set leaving Laplante drawing to only a chop. The turn {k-Spades} and river {7-Spades} improved Ben to a full house and Laplante was eliminated.
